Mold Remediation Process

A water intrusion is a must for mold to live and for a proper remediation the water issue must be fixed. In this picture you can see the obvious discoloration on the sheet rock which was caused by a leaking pipe behind it (second picture).

This remediation project required SERVPRO of Carbondale/Clarks Summit/Old Forge to remove the visible mold by cutting way the affected areas, spray the area with an antimicrobial agent to kill any remaining hidden spores and employ an air scrubbing machine to ensure that any airborne spores are removed. This tenant of a high rise apartment in Scranton was able to return to a safe and healthy environment.
