Mold in the HVAC Duct System

Mold is spread through the air and when the HVAC ducts become infested like in this picture, can spread the spores throughout the home or business.

SERVPRO of Carbondale/Clarks Summit/Old Forge was called when the homeowner discovered a mold issue within the home. Our HVAC certified technician was able to uncover the problem in the ducting system and using our portal system of whips and brushes was able to clean the line and remove the mold.

In most instances of mold infestation, a duct cleaning should be completed as part of the remediation process. A return to a safe and healthy living and working environment is always the goal.
